Young people need to apply to receive a grant from a scheme that has already donated £17,000 to projects across the county.
The only requirements of a grant application is that the project aims to make Surrey and its young people safer, through such things as sport, good citizenship, and helping deal with bullying.
Peter Lee, High Sheriff for Surrey 2014-15 has visited projects that have benefited from extra funding that range from basketball to mentoring, anger management to rally karts and motorcycles, and is keen to promote sporting projects.
He said: "There are no barriers. Sport is also a way of engaging young people in a positive way."
