Mr Pugh said: “I wanted to do something, but I wasn’t sure what.
“Painting is something I do and something I love. It gives me a voice – it’s loud, everyone can see it and it says ‘listen to me’.”
The event will be held on Sunday, July 5, in Leake Street, Waterloo, 10.30am to 5pm. To donate, visit justgiving.com/battlecancer
