A man has been taken to hospital after a crash with a bus in south London.

Police were called to reports of a crash between a bus and a pedestrian outside Kingston Hospital yesterday (Saturday, September 23) at around 5.30pm. 

London Ambulance Service attended the scene and paramedics took the pedestrian, a man believed to be in his 30s, inside the hospital for treatment. 

His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Enquiries by police are ongoing and there have been no arrests.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 17:19hrs on Saturday, 23 September to reports of a collision involving a bus and a pedestrian outside Kingston Hospital. 

“Officers attended along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service. 

“The pedestrian, a man believed to be aged in his 30s, was taken into the hospital for treatment. 

“His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. 

“Enquiries are ongoing. 

“There have been no arrests.”
