Kingstonian’s latest acquisition Dylan Casey has dreams of returning to full-time football, and boss Tommy Williams reckons it can be done.
The full-back made his second debut for Ks in Monday night’s 3-0 Ryman Division One South win over VCD Athletic.
Williams was impressed with the 19-year-old’s return to action, but he knew what he was getting having taken Casey on loan from Millwall for a month last season.
Casey, signed for the year, also spent time at Billericay Town on loan, before he was released from the Lions following their relegation to League One.
Kingstonian: Boss demands consistency after stop-start opening
Williams said: “Things have not quite worked out for Dylan in the professional game at the moment, but we know he has aspirations to get to full-time football. I am sure it will come.
“With George Wells serving a three-match ban, and Dylan being available it was good timing for us.
“He did very well slotting in at left back considering he has not had loads of football this season.”
