Former Walton Athletics Club distance runner Conor Kissane-Wood claimed his first Bushy Park parkrun win in 124 attempts on Saturday.
The 21-year-old, who now competes for St Mary’s Richmond Athletics Club, clocked 15 minutes 10 seconds to finish three seconds ahead of second-placed Sale Harriers and St Mary’s University Athletics Club runner Jenna Hill (15:13).
Elsewhere, Worcester Park’s former GB international distance runner Phil Wicks clocked 25 minutes 46 seconds to finish second at the South of the Thames cross country race in Great Bookham on Saturday.
And Kingston & Polytechnic Harrier Michael Huntley clocked one hour 23 minutes four seconds to finish 22nd at the Wimbledon Half Marathon on Wimbledon Common on Sunday.
